“You want us to teach you to fight?”

“If necessary...yes, there are some among us
who’d be willing to fight.” Starshine crossed
her arms and cleared her throat when the king
said this. “But first I’d like for you to
discover the nature of this threat. Perhaps you
will be able to handle it without us.”

“Why not build walls around your buildings?
Good defenses might deter attackers.”

“That would require a lot of work, man. I
rather my people spend their energy doing good
for the world...like feeding the starving people
of this country.”
