After a fast and rough ride, we returned to
Kristiania. King Thoreau cried when he saw his
daughter. He asked her to tell him what
happened, but she said nothing. She simply
walked into the throne room and over to her
father, then sat at his feet, defeated.

The king looked up at Wolf expectantly. “Did
any others make it?” he asked.

“No,” Wolf replied. “She was the only one.”

“It was because she was the only woman,” added
Adams. “Rednecks prefer to enslave women rather
than killing them. They breed them for food and
offspring.”

The king winced.

“We have a problem,” stated Wolf. “One of them
escaped.”
