Ruralscape
pine straw erupted into tall flames. Dozens of
rednecks were caught in it. Their screams were
horrifying to hear.
Despite the massive death caused by Adams wall
of fire, the Rednecks continued to press. We
fought desperately to keep them out of the
walls. From time to time, I heard a shot gun
blast amid our own firing, and a defender would
fall. Out of the corner of my eye I saw
Hancock’s chest explode in blood just before he
fell from the platform on which he stood.
At the battle continued, I heard less and less
gunfire. Both sides seemed to be running out of
ammunition. Suddenly, I heard shouts from my
left. I turned and looked. The wall had been
breached. The king, his daughter Sunshine, and
three other hippies were hacking and stabbing at
the Rednecks that were coming through. It was
plain to see that they would be quickly
overwhelmed.
